Matt Beary specializes in providing comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and families with an emphasis on charitable planned giving and alternative investments.  By advising clients on a broad range of important financial decisions along with prudent asset management Matt enables his clients to enhance their overall financial well being.  Matt has earned the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, is a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) and a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving (CSPG).  He is an independent Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Girard Securities, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC.  

Matt began his financial career on the trading floors in the futures and options pits of the Chicago Board of Trade and Mercantile Exchange where he traded municipal bonds, federal funds, and the Dow Jones Industrial Index. He then joined Van Kampen Investments as a mutual fund specialist educating financial advisors on asset allocation, modern portfolio theory, and retirement plans.  In 2001, Matt brought his institutional and trading experience to individual investors by partnering with Dee Gaynor as an independent financial advisor. 

Matt earned a bachelors degree in History from the University of Illinois where he was also a decathlete.  As a four year varsity athlete he set three school records and earned All Big Ten Conference Honors.  He was also awarded the George Huff award for excellence in academics and athletics. Matt, his wife and three daughters reside in Laguna Niguel, California.
